Role of a Biotechnologist in society (a motivational story).

This is a motivational story of rahul. Rahul is a poor villager who spent most of days of youth on concentrating on lectures and career. He was very hardworking kind and had a generous heart. Parents of rahul were very poor and they were in food to mouth condition. After the completion of his post graduation studies in biotechnology, he went to a metropolitan city to search a job. He found it quite difficult to get a suitable job.

He attended a lot of interviews but did not succeed. During one of the interview he met a beautiful girl named priya. Priya was good looking, rich and only girl of parents. Soon they became good friends. She was also trying desperately to get a job and fulfill the dreams of the parents. After a year, unable to bear the tension of lack of job, priya’s mother suffered from severe pain in heart. Priya took her to the hospital, where the doctors told that her mother was actually suffering from an incurable disease. Priya started crying, she informed her father who was a reputed engineer in the city. Doctors tried everything to cure her from the disease. Team of doctors came from various countries to diagnose the disease and treat her. Priya’s father tried everything possible in the world. Money was not a big matter for him. Unfortunately health of the mother started weakening day by day. One day priya decided to attend the interview, he met rahul and told the entire situation and started crying. Rahul held the hand of priya and said not to worry, everything will be alright. Rahul confronted priya and told her not to lose hope.

Next day rahul visited hospital and gave good flowers to mother. After receiving the flowers, priya’s mother smiled. She felt as if her own son brought her a gift. Rahul talked to mother and spoke encouraging words to her. Mother felt her pain left her for sometime. Every day rahul visited the mother and gave her flowers. This brought smile back onto the face of the mother. One day both priya and rahul were sitting in front of mother. While going back to home, rahul hugged mother. Mother saw the care and compassion in the eyes of rahul. She felt quite happy and relieved.

Everyday rahul would come, greet and hug her warmly. He brought smile back to the face of the mother. Soon doctors came to room, and asked mother to go for a routine check up. She went for check up. Priya father took her to the room. Much to surprise of everyone, some reports were found normal. Mother started recovering speedily. Priya’s father thanked rahul for his support. But rahul continued to visit mother for other 3 months. He offered prayers at different places. He never missed a day to bring flowers. Priya thought that rahul was in love with her that’s why he is trying to impress her. But unselfish behaviour of rahul continued for another few days. Suddenly one day Rahul received a message from priya stating that her mother recovered completely. The doctors advised them to take her home. The family of priya was in total joyous mood. They thanked god. But the mother told them to thank rahul because of inspiring words only she was able to recover.
Father asked rahul to come home, but that day rahul was attending an interview. Amazingly today rahul got the job the desired he wanted. Rahul went to priya’s home and greeted mother and brought some sweets for her. Tears of happiness came into the eyes of mother. She kissed on the forehead of rahul and asked to marry priya. Rahul told mother that there is already one girlfriend he posses and that’s the love for biotechnology research. The curtain closes.

So my dear friend the moral of the story is that what was not possible for wise doctors, engineers and rich people was done by a biotechnologist. He made a mother to recover from incurable disease. Yes you can be one of those to bring smile into the faces of millions. I hope this story proves motivational to carry your journey of biotechnology passionately.
