About the GATE

GATE stands Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. It is an annual examination. Graduates (B.E.) in engineering can do masters after qualifying the examination. Post graduates (M.Sc.) in biotechnology can do their doctoral studies. There is scholarship for meritorious students.
